Hanspi Feuz (bass) leaves the group and is replaced by Mike Thackeray V (Mersey Beats, Liverpool, GB) only for some weeks

Peter Rietmann (les Sauterelles, Zurich, CH) is the next bass player for some months.

Rex Getzmann V plays a great rock'n roll keyboard for a while .

The Countdowns become more and more a psychedelic band. Then Roger Vogel plays the bass and the Countdowns consist only of three members. A lot of "underground gigs" follow. The Countdowns become the house-band of the Spectromachie

James Mosberger joins the group as a keyboarder

Claude Pfau writes a rock-musical "YOU" and plans a two-year tour. After broken negotiations with the sponsors he left the group. This leads to the (first) end of the Countdowns.

Boelle Boerlin and James Mosberger found a new group, Ertlif.
